During a routine patrol and surveillance operation in the Muhammadabad area, SHO RS Nagar and his team gathered intelligence pointing to Umar Ansari’s alleged involvement in manipulating land records and inciting communal tension for political gains. These activities have now prompted the opening of his history-sheet, a formal record maintained for habitual offenders.

The charges include fraud, forgery, and provocative speech-making, especially during the election period. One of the forgery cases had previously led to Umar’s judicial custody, although he is currently out on bail granted by the High Court.

SP Dr. Raja emphasized the need for constant monitoring of Umar Ansari’s activities, especially due to his connections with a criminal gang and repeated involvement in unlawful acts. He also mentioned that opening the history-sheet is part of a broader strategy to clamp down on organized crime in the region.

Umar Ansari, a resident of Darji Mohalla, Yusufpur, continues to be under the police radar as investigations into his alleged offenses move forward.
